Jim McCathern Chief Executive Officer

Jim is a founding partner of Patriot and has been involved in the Tax Assessment industry since 1980. He served as Patriot’s Vice-President from 1985 to 2004, and Chief Executive Officer since 2004. Holding a Massachusetts Certified General Appraisal License, he has been a Project Manager and a Commercial and Industrial Valuation Analyst for hundreds of Tax Assessment Revaluation Programs. Jim has considerable court experience as an expert witness for litigation involving Real Estate Valuation. Overseeing Patriot’s CTO, Development & Marketing as well as all Business Partner Relations, he serves as the Project Sponsor on all major software implementations.

Mark Harrell Chief Operating Officer

Mark is one of Patriot’s proud founders and has been involved in the mass appraisal industry since 1978. His experience as a property inspector, review appraiser and project manager has helped to make AssessPro a solid CAMA system the Assessor can trust to value property easily and equitably. Mark has participated in and led hundreds of certifications and revaluations throughout his career and lends his considerable expertise to the entire Patriot team.

Ellis Withington System Architect / CAMA SME

Ellis is our current CAMA SME, having previously served as both Chief Technical Officer and also President of Patriot Properties from 1985 to 2004. Over that time he helped grow the Assess Pro platform, and is the System Architect of AssessPro 5.0. Ellis is a recognized industry expert in the areas of real estate appraisal, property tax consulting, qualified expert testimony, investment analysis, and real estate appraisal software development.
