Patriot Properties, Inc. is the developer of AssessPro, a highly versatile and comprehensive, Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) application with the most powerful assessment tools available in today's market. Full real and personal property valuation models, administration, document and photograph storage, and the best integrated sketch application available are all included.

Patriot Properties, Inc. is celebrating its 25th year as a CAMA provider in 2010. Our commitment to the assessing and appraisal professional remains as strong today as when we began in 1985. We will continue to strive to create a leading edge, stable platform for the Assessors to carry out their function in a precise and defensible format. HISTORY…

Patriot Properties, Inc. was incorporated in May of 1985, founded by a group with vast experience in the appraisal and revaluation field. The founders had several principles on which the new corporation was founded which separated them from other companies. Aside from a dedication to timeliness & quality work, the owners of the company all work directly on client projects. This philosophy results in more responsiveness to client needs and closer application between the client and corporate objectives. Patriot Properties, Inc., developed a new state-of-the-art "CAMA" software system, which accurately fills the needs of county and municipal clients. This CAMA system has evolved and been refined over the past 25 years. The data processing staff works closely with the project supervisor and client to customize software products for each installation. Data processing conforms to the project's requirements, not the converse. These two (2) differences make for a highly sensitive and responsive environment for the client.

In the 25 years since the founding, Patriot Properties, Inc., has installed software or provided services for over 185 counties or municipalities. The company's original CAMA system was a multi-user DOS based assessing system developed in 1985. In 1995, a Windows® product, AssessPro for Windows, was released and is now the primary product in the Patriot Properties' software line. As Patriot Properties celebrates its 23rd year of incorporation, CollectPro, a new billing & collections application has been added to our product line.

Patriot Properties, Inc., has been in business over 25 years and serves more than 190 clients Nationwide with a staff of 40 employees. Quality control by the working partners has remained a constant priority since the company's founding. We have toll-free "800" telephone lines to our fully staffed technical support group from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. We provide unlimited toll-free support. We pride ourselves on our level of customer satisfaction and our timely response to client needs. This support function, however, is made easy due to the ease of use of AssessPro.

In our years of service to government, Patriot Properties, Inc., has converted data from dozens of different assessing systems and has interfaced with more than 25 different tax collection systems and numerous other Governmental Software Applications.

Ownership Team
James McCathern, Chief Executive Officer & Partner Jim is a founding partner of Patriot and has been involved in the Tax Assessment industry since 1980. He served as Vice-President of Patriot from 1985 to 2004, and has served as the company's Chief Executive Officer since 2004.

Jim holds a Massachusetts Certified General Appraisal License and has been a Project Director, Project Supervisor and a Commercial and Industrial Valuation Analyst for hundreds of Tax Assessment Revaluation Programs since 1980. He also has considerable court experience as an expert witness for litigation involving Real Estate Valuation.

Jim is the managing partner that oversees the Patriot Fee Appraisal Department.. He also provides considerable input into the development of Patriot's Assesspro Software Applications particularly in the Income Approach Module and the GIS Viewer.

Mark Harrell, President & Partner Mark has been involved in mass appraisal since 1978. His experience as a property inspector, review appraiser and project manager for residential property has helped to make AssessPro a solid CAMA system the Assessor can use to value property correctly, easily and equitably. Mark has also participated in over 150 revaluations over his career.

David Zion, Secretary, Treasurer & Partner David provides Patriot with the business leadership and knowledge required of any successful company. David's expertise in contract administration and financial matters provide Patriot with a solid financial footing.
